We have joined the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce
We can all find ourselves in vulnerable circumstances at some time in our lives.
As a result the Personal Financial Society has recently launched the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce and at Manning and Company we have joined and have adopted their charter.
Vulnerability is something that can affect us all; through unexpected events such as illness, loss of employment, divorce or even the sudden acquisition of wealth.
By joining the taskforce we will have access to a range of resources and will be able to share best practice so that our clients will continue to receive the top level of service they expect from Manning and Company.
We have committed to a charter and by doing so we are agreeing at all times to abide by nine commitments (click here for further information).
The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce is a newly created independent and inclusive representative body supported by the Personal Finance Society.
Its ultimate purpose is to promote greater understanding of vulnerability, encourage appropriate behaviours and establish good practice amongst personal finance professionals in respect of people who find themselves in vulnerable circumstances.
